The Howling Eye “Caverns”

The Howling Eye is a group of young musicians from Gdańsk, Poland, crafting an intriguing blend of psychedelic rock. Hubert Lewandowski, Jan Chojnowski, and Miłosz Wojciechowski define their sound as a fusion of the emotional depth of All Them Witches, the kaleidoscopic fantasy of King Gizzard, and the robust tones of Elder. Experimenting within the realm of rock, they seamlessly merge psychedelia with elements of stoner, dub, and jazz.

Their album “List do Borykan” debuted in June this year, serving as an anthology of tales about both the micro- and macrocosms, exploring identity discovery and sincere emotions amidst a dystopian, violence-ridden world. It’s a narrative of longing, mourning, and alienation, yet also of fraternal bonds. The evolution of the story unfolds against a changing musical landscape, where thunderous riffs and wailing guitars intertwine with otherworldly textures and synthesized landscapes, inducing listeners into a musical trance.
