Indigo Tree “lullabies of love and death” (Full Album)

Indigo Tree was a band that, despite its relatively short existence, achieved cult status on the Polish alternative music scene. Its unique sound, minimalist approach to composition, and deep emotional resonance captivated both listeners and critics. Formed by the duo Peve Lety (Piotr Lewandowski) and Filip Zawada, Indigo Tree released two studio albums that became a testament to their creative synergy.

The band was formed in 2009 when Peve Lety and Filip Zawada merged their musical visions, creating a unique blend of lo-fi, melancholic folk, and alternative rock. Their debut album, “Lullabies of Love and Death” (2009), was released by the independent label Ampersand and quickly gained recognition among listeners seeking unconventional sounds. The album combined subtle arrangements with moving lyrics, crafting an intimate atmosphere that resonated deeply with its audience.

In 2010, they released their second and final album, “Blanik” . This record deepened their musical vision, introducing more complex compositions and darker, introspective lyrics. Critics praised “Blanik” for its artistic maturity and its ability to evoke moods that lingered with the listener long after the album ended.

Unfortunately, Indigo Tree ceased its activities in 2011, leaving behind two albums that remain celebrated for their originality and authenticity to this day.
